Program Overview
The Global Workforce Readiness Program is a short, practical training designed for Sri Lankans preparing to work overseas as general workers. In 60 hours across 15 sessions, participants build essential workplace English, learn to communicate confidently with supervisors and coworkers, and develop leadership, teamwork, and cultural awareness for multinational environments. The course is not exam-heavy and focuses on real-life communication, safety instructions, and polite professional behavior.
Training uses role plays and simulations (airport/immigration, banking & remittance, shopping, medical visits, and emergencies), plus worksite English for tools, tasks, and safety signs. Learners practice everyday dialogues, requests, and problem-solving, with guided feedback to boost fluency and confidence. Guest speakers who have worked abroad share practical tips, and participants receive a signed Program Plan and a Certificate of Participation upon completion.
By the end of the program, participants can: (1) use clear, polite English in common workplace and daily-life situations; (2) follow instructions and safety protocols; (3) collaborate respectfully in diverse teams; and (4) present themselves professionally with good grooming, body language, and etiquette. This program is ideal for first-time overseas workers, returnees seeking a refresh, and anyone who wants fast, practical readiness without a long academic course.

Great program! The workplace English and safety signs section helped me a lot before leaving for Doha. Dr. Tony’s role-plays made talking to supervisors much easier. Highly recommend for first-time overseas workers.

I’m from Jaffna and joined with limited English. The banking/remittance and medical English modules were very practical, with Tamil support where needed. Feeling confident for my job in Abu Dhabi. Nandri!
