This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge in a variety of contexts, across a number of industry sectors. The job roles that relate to this qualification may include Project Manager and Project Team Leader.
Individuals in these roles have project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives. They possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialized, technical and managerial competencies to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate their own work and/or the work of others.

Please note: All students must complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy Test (LLN) during orientation. Students who do not complete an LLN during orientation will be required to complete one before the course commences to ensure the program's suitability and assist AIPT in identifying any additional support needed during their study.
Our RTO will be offering the following delivery structure: Face to Face:
(Total course duration 78 weeks consisting of 60 week’s tuition and 18 week’s holiday)
There is an extra 3 hours per week programmed outside of 20 scheduled contact hours where you revise and practice to reinforce classroom learning. Some people will move more quickly through the material and others may take a bit more time depending on your confidence in the topics.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL), current competencies (RCC) and Credit transfer process is available to all students prior to the course at pre-enrolment and is discussed again at the induction.
Recognition of prior learning (RPL)
Learners who believe they already have some of the competencies in the course may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Application may only be made after enrolment and must be made using the Application Form contained within the RPL kit
Credit Transfer (CT)
“Learners who have completed units within their course at other institutions will be given recognition on presentation of a verified transcript, Award or Statement of Attainment. If application is successful and results in a shorter course duration, Australian Institute of Professional Technique may amend and reissue a “CoE”.
On successful completion of this course (the student being deemed competent in all units) the student will be awarded the BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management.
If only units are completed and not the full qualification AIPT will award a Statement of Attainment. The qualification will be awarded in line with the guidelines outlined in the VET Quality Framework.
